Methodology: The Terror Attacks and Arrests Observatory, hosted by the Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies (CHRIPS), is a record of disaggregated information on reported terror-related attacks and arrests in Kenya. CHRIPS uses information from local partners as well as new and traditional media sources, as useful indicators, to generate a comprehensive database on attacks and arrests in Kenya. The data can be used to analyze trends in any mapping program or statistical package as well as to inform research and policy.
